A selfless life replete with narrow-minded acquaintances and ones that are family. Painful and cruel yet it is a type of society that continues to exist even more extensively today.

Was Gregor Samsa’s metamorphosis truly physically or simply metaphorically? If someone whom you truly loved was in the same situation as him, would you still keep loving him and trying to save him in spite of all the obstacles? I wonder how many people can say for sure that they would. This is such a very sad story that irrefutably is a reflection of our reality.
